I'm going to go ahead and get my "age guess" thread out of the way

Caught this pic the other day - good buck that made it. The way he is hunched, hard to tell much about body, but all in all, I just cannot make him an old deer at all.

Even a little bit.

What say the GS?

With out knowing the county or anything I'd say 4 at least maybe 5

4-5 is my guess also. This is a REALLY hard time of year to get an accurate guess on age. Middle aged is about as good a guess as I can give.

Yep. Picture does throw me off because of how he's standing - and it's the only pic I got in the first round with him in it.

I know it. I wa trying to put years on him bc of mass, his body just didn't seem to match.

Just based off that one pic I'd have a hard time putting that deer over 4.5. That is a very tuff to age from and I wouldn't anything on it. You can't any of the body features I look for from that angle.

Tough time of the year to age....I am going with 5.5 based on the face.
