    Yardmadillos

We apparently had a couple babies spawned in our yard. I'll do my best to get a pic or two.

      Nice!!

I guess it would be inappropriate for me to say I have been wanting a custom knife made from baby dillow...

Saw one years ago by a custom smith & never ran across another one since.

Got a big 'un working the mulched area in back, and got it on camera last night, along with a black cat. Traps are out--if I catch the 'dillo, it gets a trip to the other side of the creek, about 2 miles away. The cat--??? No collar then it gets a trip to the buzzard buffet.

You got it backwards. People don't put collars on outside cats.

Some of my misguided neighbors that let their animals run loose do---but in the 18 years I've lived here, I've educated many of them, and cut down on the neighborhood's roaming skunk population which would come each night to eat the "outside" cat food. I've killed or trapped 37 skunks in that time -- 36 in my yard. I can't remember how many crats.
