The watch was bought by my mother for him in the early 70's specifically because of the anti magnetic resistance as a few trips to a job site he had to some turbine work he was doing in a hydro electric dam wasted a few watches and credit cards. The watch stayed on his wrist daily for 30+ years until his death and had been around the world more than once, with Antarctica being the only continent it hasn't touched. When I received the watch, it came without any pomp or circumstance, just the watch head on a plain velcro band (the kind you can buy 10 for $5.00). Just like my old man; all steak, no sizzle. I did eventually source the correct band and end links and now is stays with me. A daily reminder of him.

One of the best stories ever.. Wear your fathers watch in good health always... I love the story and by the way your Milgause is priceless amongst dealers like myself.. A great example and wonderful story.

A little different avenue here, but this is something that I've been wearing every day for the last 3 weeks. If they picture isn't super clear, it says "Rosco's Crew". It is just a reminder to think about and say a prayer for my cousin Russell who has been recently diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. I think it is pretty cool.

Nice watches! I don't wear any jewelry at all except for my simple gold band wedding ring that never comes off.

                        It's 'aight.

It's only #10 of 11 pieces ever produced. I'd have gotten #1/11 but that's just me.

Yeah. They sell for around $200k. It's a legit watch.

You find one for $200K you'd better open it up and make sure it's not full of pinball machine parts.

I'm not in the market, but my understanding was they are selling between $200,000 and $400,000. I guess my info off.
