Everytime i "win" one of these i say im not shooting in another. I've been thinking about how hard it can be to get in practice time on a regular basis so . . .
This week we are playing washers. I used a standard sheet of paper. Three 2" circles with 1" circles centered in them. I offset them to give as much room between as possible yet have none right on the edge. Number them in any order you like but each washer will get one arrow. We can only shoot at one washer per day.
Shots in the center of the washer scores 10 points. In the wider area of the washer scores 8 points. On paper but still within a half inch of that days washer scores 3 points. Hits off the paper or more than half an inch off the line no score unless . . .
Hitting a washer that is not that days target nets negative points equal to that targets scoring. -8 or -10.
You must cut a line to score that area. We are going to shoot from 15 yards for adults, 10 yards for youth. Ten years and under 5 yards. If your an adult who has just started traditional in the last month or so shoot it at 12.
Highest score wins the next call.
