Yep. Pressured deer are easy to pattern.

Ive decided to up my roots from the Sam because like most of yall am trying to avoid pressure and would like a change in scenery. That being said other than maps and hunt stand app i don't know a lick on boundries and rules of hunting this region. ... Any insight....
DCNF is getting to be just as bad as Sam. Too many ppl can't keep their mouth shut.

I hunt near Kennard. Anyone seeing more hogs? I got a cam and they are coming in from 2 to 4 am.

Is there a 2019 post running or are we just using this one?

We all as a group have decided to stop posting. Attracting too much attention.

Don’t blame you one bit. When I hunted DCNF I covered every deer I drug out of there with a tarp or gear to keep people from nosing into my areas. Now that I own property near it there is no way in hell I would say or post anything.

My cousin did good this weekend near big slough.

I'm tempted, just a little...ok a lot, to post about all the big deer and no hunters at DCNF since I don't hunt there. It would keep them from hunting my area. But I've learned the hard way that if you throw stones eventually one will come back and hit you in the head. So, I'll just post on the other thread how great the hunting is at DCNF

Good luck to all out there.

Good luck to all of the hunters hunting the Davey! We know here are no large deer there......

why is there not a 2020 DCNF thread?
                            Everyone quit hunting out there?

No deer left in the Davy after the Houston Chronicle article on the big deer killed. The rest all knew the seasoned hunters were heading that way, so they lit out for other sections of woods
