This watch was made in 1959 and was purchased new by my uncle. Upon his death my dad got it and wore it every day for two decades. Upon my fathers death I got it and have worn it every day since 1993.

Great looking Rolex and an even better story.

This is the Day Date 40, if you take a moment to look at the 41mm it looks non traditional Rolex and appears to be stretched out, main reason it was discontinued this past year... The 40 mm is on point !!

I worked with a guy in the brown and root pipe fab in Baytown that jumped down from a beam and his wedding ring caught and pulled his finger off . . Wow . . I retired as a teacher . .
