To answer the question....It all depends on the shooter and situation.

The Big 8 I killed this season is an extremely special buck to me. He’s one of my favorites.

One on the left is large to quite large by my count...

                  150+ personally is a big 8

A dream buck is a straight 160"+ eight
                  X2,
If I see a 160" 8, I will let my .300 mag "make some music" and my season would be Over.

Some 8's are more impressive than others, I've seen 8's that score a lot less then they appear. The score doesn't always matter with 8 points..

If I was going off of score only, I consider an 8 point over 150" to be "big" less than that and I normally describe them as "good" or "nice". Some ranches produce multiple 8's over 150" almost every season, other parts of the state may not produce one in the entire county.

My Avitar is a 137 from kansas, I thought he was bigger when I shot him and was disappointed with his score, everyone else said I was an idiot and forget score he was a great deer. I also have an 8 over 151 with a 1 inch (at best) g4 on one side.

Wow, there are some incredible 8s on this thread. Considering I have never shot a whitetail over 130, I would say any 8 over 130 would be a big 8 to me.
