Slinky's on the feeder legs! No more Coons!

Well credit for the idea goes to Skinny. He was inspired based on a thread he saw from Smart. Anywho, I have the cheap, premade, wire cage around my feeder motor. The coons keep bending the wires and reach in to spin the plate. The cage only manages to slow them down a bit. Every time I go to out corn in my feeder the cage wires are stretched and bent out of shape again. Hence the fix! On 6-23-17 I bought 3 slinky's for about $3 each and attached them to my feeder legs. I haven't had a coon touch my cage since. They were hitting the cage nightly before the slinky's. For $9 I don't think you will find a better solution. They may eventually figure it out, but for now it's working.

There you go! Same results here! As far as I can tell, coons do not like to touch the slinky....at all!!!! [emoji1474]

Well I was really hoping to get some hilarious video, but since I've installed them the coons touch the slinky and run away. When they grab it the whole slinky moves and they just don't like it. I'm still hoping a brave one will show up and give it the ole college try
