prayers sent for you and your family, I can't imagine being on bedrest for as long as she has, if I counted right it should be about 6 weeks until the original due date, my first daughter was born 6 1/2 weeks early and is now 4 and completely healthy. I'm sure everything will be fine. Good luck

Originally posted by duck'n View PostPrayers sent. My wife was on mandatory bedrest with both sets of twins. That can be very stressful for all involved. The magnesium can be tough on the Mrs. as well. We will keep your family in our prayers and please update us when you can. God bless.
BOTH SETS OF TWINS?? Noooo, this is not stressful compared to going through that...lol
The Magnesium Sulfate is some bad stuff. One nurse called it "flu in a bag." Wife is having a hard time with that stuff. They just took her off to see where her contraction rate is.
Doctor just left and they are bringing in a High Risk OB Specialist. Everything is looking good. Her EKG checked out fine (had to have that because of a heart murmur). Concern is with her uterus getting too thin. With 2 previous C-sections and the second one being somewhat iffy (sp?) it is a big concern with it rupturing. They have told us of some options. One being delivering next week, another is an amniocentisis to check the baby's lung development..and the other is to keep her in the hospital under controlled environment for the next 5 weeks. OUCH
I'll keep you posted.
