Llano River Flooding

Another wall is coming down the Llano and Colorado on Buchanan. They are going to have to start opening gates on Buch . If you ever been to the first set of falls on Buch well they are probably only falling about 7-10ft vs the typical 30-40ft

At least the Llano has not come up as much as expected. I’m still shocked there was additional flooding in the Junction area but the ground is so saturated the water has no where to go. Definitely will keep praying for those in the LBJ/Marble Falls area. All that we can hope for now is no more rain.

I bet that 2nd crest isn't as high as they thought it would be.

They have recently reported that this second crest is not going to happen for Llano! Great news!

Now that I think about it, I wonder just how many boats are out there wondering around on their own???? That stinks.

My parents watched dozens of boats go over Wirtz dam. I saw a few floating down LBJ when I stopped in to check on their property.

It's hard to believe but their home in HH was spared.

More water to Buchanan as the San Saba is about 14 at Menard. We have had very little hard rain but steady and any thing that falls is running off.
Prayers for everyone affected by the floods.
