Most of what we hit wasn't that bad. Being wet added a degree difficulty. Couple more inches of clearance on my part and I never would have hung up.

Yeah after our first trip my wife now wants 37”s on her jeep. With having 4” loft and 35”s there was few places we couldn’t make it.

For me, it was the belly pan or "shovel" as some have affectionate called it.

I live right down the road, I'll most likely be fishing though. For those interested, there are rooms at the little fishing motel on 155, right before you cross Lake Of the Pines. Gas station close, David Beards Catfish restaurant, a block away. Just a suggestion for those headed up.

Well it looks like I may not be able to make it. We are about to kick off a big project at work.

Just now saw this. This stinks!

This is just a few weeks away. Who all is still in?

If you're planning on riding a motorcycle or ATV, BRMA has a helmet rule that is strictly enforced. Also, a Texas OHV sticker is required. They are available from different sources. Check the TPWD website for locations in your area https://tpwd.texas.gov/state-parks/t...ghway-program/ . BRMA will have them at the gate as well.

This is the list as I currently understand it:

                  Fargus
                  Cantcatch5
                  jlinville
                  Sahelian

Might show up if nothing planned that weekend. Haven’t been there in years. It’s a blast!!! Never guess that terrain existed in East Texas

I'll see what is going on that weekend and try to go out there. Know a lot of people who ride

I was there 2 weeks ago. They are now open on Thursday, and we were there for 4 days. Went wheeling, a little drinking and a lot of friends just hanging around. Had a blast.

                          Good looking rig.

10 days til we hit the trails. Anyone else want to join in the fun? I know there's a bunch of folks on this site that have trail capable rigs.

Here's the list at the moment.

                          Fargus
                          Cantcatch5
                          jlinville

                          Two Jeeps and two ATV's
