Food sources around our place are looking good.[emoji106]

I saw a real nice buck last night while standing on our fence line talking to our neighbor. He said "You better get a camera up where that buck stepped out".. so this evening I did just that.

First pic is the Alfalfa and clover mix behind our house.
Second pic oats just west of the house.
Third pic is Corn field on one side of the terrace oats on the other side.
Fourth is camera location where the nice buck came out last night.
I will probably have a stand in one of those 3 trees, but not the big Cottonwood.
Good trail in the bean field across the road from the house.

I set a camera in a new location where I saw a nice buck step out Sunday evening. I went and checked it last night.

This buck had disappeared for about a month. He has showed back up with hard horns and velvet still hanging. Couple more nice ones popped up recently. The bucks are starting to move off their summer pattern and into their fall pattern. Some sparring has started.

The corn is approaching nine to ten foot tall and still growing.

They make 200 bushel per acre corn your way? Not sure I can say that I have ever witnessed 10' tall corn stalks, that's crazy tall compared to our central Texas corn.
