Do you move the scanner, by hand, around the piece?
Or keep the scanner stationary and move the piece?

Thank you everyone! Not much formal training, I'm just fortunate enough to work a school district that was willing to take a chance on purchasing a 3d printer last fall and things have been moving really fast for myself and my students since. The only limitation is your build size on the printer platform, my printer at home is 8"X8"X7" (length width and height), although larger prints can take upwards of 8 plus hours to print, i think these little fridge magnets are the happy medium. I'm currently working on some new scans/prints first is my 2008 South African wartie and a few larger whitetails with a possible moose and elk to come as well.
