This a great thread. I'd never heard of a Lacy, now I want a third dog to go with my beagle/harrier (great nose and stamina if you can find one) and cattle dog/rottweiler mutt.

I decided on a Blue Lacy over another Jagd just because I wanted to try a breed I've never had. The Jagd imo is still one of the toughest dogs on the planet for its size, and an excellent tracker.

Ive got a young rottie that im training to track right now. he's 5 months old and tracking blood scent and a deer hide at 1\4 mile after 2 hours as of last weekend.
