It worked!!!
Ok. This is opening weekend last year on the Happy M Ranch. The weekend started out a little slow looking for different deer. We had no idea this deer was as big as he was. On Sunday morning my son and his guide sat the box blind over this feeder and saw King in person for the first time. Me and chuck hunted a new area looking for a big deer Chuck ended up killing later in the year. My sons guide told us he thought King was much bigger than we realized. He thought he'd go mid 70's easy. This really peaked my interest. The wind was going to be wrong, but we only had one last chance for the weekend. Gage had school the next morning. I got my ozonics and cameras charged and we headed to the blind that evening. The rest you can see in the video. It was an amazing hunt. King ended up scoring 184 5/8 and placed first in the Texas Big Game Awards. A huge thank you to Chuck, the owner of Happy M Ranch. He treated us like family and was the award winning Camera man. Thank you to Michael for the awesome editing job. I wish I had figured out how to post this much sooner.

I can't say enough about Chuck, his family and his amazing ranch. This was out third time to the Happy M Ranch. It was amazing the first trip, and It just gets better every year. They don't ride and feed the roads so you don't see deer standing around everywhere. You have to hunt. The property is gorgeous and well kept. The accommodations are way above expectations. I can't recommend it enough. I can't wait to get back.
