I watched my cousin do the same thing but through the bed of his truck. He was resting his on one side and looking through the scope. I could see what was about to happen but before I could say anything BOOM and then all I could do was laugh.

I can TOTALLY relate!! And my brother cut the little raised ridge on the center of the hood of his 69 Chebby p/u... zeroing in his .270 using a pillow for a rest... scope was clear, barrel, not so much...
