All of my kids and now my grandkids have been going with me since they were 3-4 years old.

It was a lot tougher with my kids as we lived in Louisiana and had no blinds.

With my granddaughter when she was younger we would hunt the rifle blind which is 180 yards away. She could make all the noise she wanted and not affect the deer at all. This year she is 5 and we are taking her in the bow blind but she understands she has to be quiet and does pretty good.

It's rare I don't have my kids in the stand with me. My oldest huts alone now(1st year). But my other 2 are always with me. Wouldn't trade it for the world.

          .
I'm fortunate they just really like getting out in the woods.

Love seeing those kiddos in the woods. I have 4 ranging from 10-18 years old and all have spent a good portion of their life in the outdoors. My youngest daughter shot her first deer and hog this year, and all 4 kids have shot their first deer with the same .243 rifle which I think is pretty cool.

Memories being made. Congrats to everyone that takes a younger kid hunting.

From this weekend. We saw plenty of deer, just not the right one. We will be back for more soon.
