    Woodpeckers vs game cameras

Help!!!!! What do y'all do to keep them from damaging your cameras?

    Does anyone have a solution?

Is there a woodpecker proof camera?

The TBH WGI hatin dog pile need not apply

I dang sure ain't gonna put out a more expensive camera if a woodpecker can ruin it.

    Any help is appreciated.

Never had that happen. Maybe put them on trees with a little more life left in them.

I run a ton of cameras and knock on wood this has never happened. I don't understand what causes them to hit yours so bad

Didn't T-Mate come out with a cover that goes on top of the camera? I think I remember wood ****** deterrence being one of the selling points. Could be mistaken though.

EDIT: found it. Not sure it'll help in your setup

Really? ****** triggers the filter? "Woodpecker" =/= "Wood ******" #SpacesMatter

Woodpeckers are the enemy! They end up being what kills all of our cameras.

I suppose if that were happening to me, I'd stop putting them on trees and instead just attach them to T-posts. I've started moving off of trees on my lease for cameras.

Mount your camera on a t-post.
I have 4 cameras on t-post and lots of woodpeckers around, but only problem I have had is poop on top of the cameras.

My problem went away when I stopped putting cameras on trees... Went to t-Posts or other metal mounting post... pipe, square tubing, angle iron, even big re-bar... No cameras damaged since makin' the switch...
