    I'm aware of the history of the party. My reference to Bernie was with social and economic policies. I don't see refugee and immigration policy as a partisan issue. They have had a serious problem with Islamic terror the last decade.

    La Pen said "hey we need to do something, we cannot sustain this".

    Macron said "Terror attacks are just something we will have to live with"
    and
    "We create terrorist with our Islamiphobia"

    One got labeled a radical, the other got elected.

      Yep. I know the quotes. The road to and from the airport was all I needed to see last year for springbreak....total mess. Bottom line both candidates were less than desirable. One issue candidates or parties don't carry the day in big national elections. 34% was actually a solid showing from folks in northern France and on the Spain border.
