                            Yes, I believe it would be. I believe you must recover all four quarters and the backstops, at a minimum to avoid a charge of wanton waste of game. There are exceptions for meat that is damaged and/or unedible.

                                I trust a doctor with a knife, but I sure don't want him backing me up on an entry. The two don't correlate at all. That having been said, there's no way I'd let my meat go to waste just to have a deer mounted.
