I put a misalignment spacer on both sides of the rod end at both ends of the drag link (need to find the missing rascal for the pitman side)
Take a look at the panhard bar (track bar) in relation to your drag link.
Ideally, they should be the same angle, and the same length so as the axle droops when the suspension is cycling, they are not exerting opposing forces on the steering. This is often referred to as "bump steer"
I used a track bar riser from Wild Horses to bring the axle end if my track bar up. It welds to the axle.
You can just see it tucked in the back. I need to drill and pin my bolts. Daughter just helped me get it all back assembled a few days ago.
My next obstacle is getting the pulley pressed back on my power steering pump. I don't have a beefy enough impact. My rig came with factory power steering, but it has been completely rebuilt by PSC Motorsports. I'm debating on whether I want to install the ram assist, or leave it off. I had the box ported to accept it, and the ram is on my tool cart.
Your thread has given me some inspiration (and some ideas) as I reassemble my rig. I appreciate it.
