Also, I think trying to replicate Saban is an exercise in futility. The guy is one of the greatest college football coaches of all time and benefits from the top pedigree of Alabama. I think you need something different, as opposed to a carbon copy.

The point about not playing soft is a valid one though.

I don't think the Herman situation is settled yet and it's agents doing agent stuff, but for the Ags.

Sumlin has had decent recruiting classes every year and has had the same result with all of them. There's no progress just spinning their wheels

May not be to far fetched cause he has $44M on his contract at FSU, so it was going to take $50M+ to get him.
