very impressed with the X-caliber barrel! These groups were loads i had developed for the old barrel so it may be able to shoot even better.

here is the link which does not work in OP, which will not let me edit?

This is how my .270 Winchester sits now. If picture shows? https://imgur.com/Uz4dUuJ I have so far upgraded my bolt carrier, replaced ejector, detent and spring, replaced plastic triger guarded with metal and set it in a Boyd's prairie hunter walnut stock. Plans are as following. I am waiting on a x-caliber 25" 416R Stainless Steel, light puma contour, 1:10 Twist 5R Groove w/ 11 degree crown, cryogenic treated. I have new new nut and recoil lug and barrel nut wrench waiting for

first time doing this much work to a bolt gun. I had never did any bedding or pilers before.

I have been very pleased with their barrels. More accurate than I have the ability to shoot that is for sure.

I agree, as they do not come up as often as some of the other custom barrel makers but they are gaining notoriety.

Glad to hear that. I by no means am a gunsmith, and was not even sure what to do, but with the help of Randy and searching on the site i figured it all out.

I highly encourage anyone with the will to give it a try. I was so scared of messing things up, but this did not wind up being the case.

I’m a .270 guy....and I like your group! Some loads just work. Sweet build. If my tikka wasn’t so accurate I would build something very similar.
