He went around 500 yards and from where we spotted him last night he found him 20 yards up in the trees.

Blackjack, did your buck break off the one side fighting or just never grew it?

Earlier in the year, Dan had several pictures of this buck with one long pencil horned spike on the other side. He had broken that spike off, but when I looked at it closely it looks like he had broken a good portion of his skull plate off around his pedicle off. There was only a small area of antler growth area left where he grew the long spike
