    David Sherrard #1078

It's been a tough week. Going to a funeral today for one of the best cops I've ever worked with. David Sherrard was not only a great cop, but was a dedicated husband and father. I can't remember very many times we talked that he didn't speak of his wife and girls. He was always the guy you want to be around- smiling, laughing, giving everyone a hard time. When it came to work- he was one of the guys you always wanted with you. SWAT, Sniper, super motivated and always wanting to serve to the best of his ability. I never had any doubts as to whether he would be there when things go bad. Dave went down as a hero. Dave will never be forgotten.

    RIP Brother.
