    Buzzards won’t eat coyote

Killed a coyote several weeks ago. Dumped it where we dump pigs and guts. Pigs and guts are gone but coyote is still there. Why?

Professional courtesy. Just like how sharks won't eat lawyers.

Sorry I had to do it.

There ain't hardly anything that'll eat a coyote, including other coyotes. I shot one last Winter that's still in the same spot. Well.....bones and a little fur.

; but seriously I've always heard they won't mess with a dog.

From what I have seen nothing eats coyotes, buzzards, or grackels

A long time ago my Uncle saw two bald eagles eating a dead coyote but I suppose if birds of prey are hungry they'll eat just about anything. Well I guess that applies to pretty much anything on earth.

What part of the state? I have hunted a few locations west and NW that do not have buzzards this time of year. I have also had coyotes and pigs lay for awhile but the crows usually pick at them at least.

I guess that just goes to show that if something get hungry enough it'll eat anything.

I've never seen one eat a yote or a dog on highway. They just stay till they rot

Buzzards won't touch a dead coyote or another dead buzzard on our place.

We must have hungry buzzards in South Texas. They love eating dead coyotes. Caracara’s dine on them as well.
