The baby coachwhips I've caught and seen look just like the adults. Racers have the blotches when they're little and turn a solid color when they get older.

Bullsnakes, garter snakes, water snakes, hognose snakes, rattlesnakes and kingsnakes look the same throughout their lives. They might have brighter and more noticeable markings but they don't change much throughout the remainder of their lives. Body types of the snakes helps give a basic idea of what they are when they're juveniles. Racers and Coachwhips have a thinner body and really skinny tail. Also the scales on top of the head are similar.
