        Looking at the pictures I would guess him to be 4.5. He looks to have lost a lot of weight between those two round of pictures.

        They start to look younger once they are post mature sometimes.

                    The last pic is misleading, post rut and he is worn down. The mention of him being alone most of the time leads me to believe he is older. His body is thin in Oct, which leads me to believe youngish or very old, but his body frame says mature. Big head, full neck at his chest. With no upclose view of his face its hard to say. Sometimes trash on the antlers is a sign of a mature deer

                    I will say 8 years old maybe older

                    The 12pt is a mighty fine deer, by the way
