Crazy that week of hunting. All of the wildlife acted different. Cows and deer were extremely cautious and skiddish. I was on the second to last day of a 7 day trip. I went home that night. No way on Earth I was walking to the blind the next morning in the dark!

At the old house I lived in while married we would have a cat come around about once a yr. Always knew because the horses would get extremely nervous. At the ranch we have a cat that comes around and hangs on the River. As you mentioned the wildlife will just disappear. Mark aka Doghouse has seen it once or twice.
