My granddad had a quadruple bypass several years ago and recovered fully. All of his siblings had heart disease and heart attacks so he was already watching his diet, but it just runs in his family. Recovery was slow and difficult, but you wouldn't know it now. He's 82 and goes as much or more than I do!

Recovery was slow and difficult, but you wouldn't know it now. He's 82 and goes as much or more than I do!

These kind of posts are reassuring and needed. I got home from working night shift and he was stepping it out on our place, just blessed to be able to see him upright. He means so much to us, it was just hard to fathom him having the widow maker at 51 years old.
