Here on my place in Western Goliad County it was really low consumption since late January till last week when it rained. Now they have picked up quite a bit in the last 10 days. My food plots are all up and growing now so I am expecting the consumption to back off. Got .40" rain here last night. Lot of forb growth right now along with new growth brush.

We got a little over 2"s since yesterday morning. Our pasture is as green as it has ever been. Our deer are still hitting the protein and cottonseed pretty good. They are eating about 250 lbs of protein per week out of each feeder. Cottonseed consumption has slowed down a little bit though.
