A guy at church had this issue.
A disc had degenerated, pinching a nerve. Had surgery to replace the disc.

Exactly what I had. Pain in the middle of the night became unbearable. Went to the hand specialist and not only did I have carpel tunnel, but had cubital tunnel in my elbow and pronator teres syndrome in my forearm. All from these years of throwing 15,000 pitches of BP each year.

Definitely worth checking out, I would guess something nerve related around any of your cervical vertebrae. I used to do neuromonitoring for spinal surgeries and C1-C8 mainly the lower to mid cervical vertebrae deal with arm and hand tingling and numbness.

Also, when positioned during surgery, we had to monitor for loss of muscular activity and nerve response when arms were raised to make sure brachial plexus was positioned correctly.

X1000. Especially for a condition that could be attributable to cervical disc issues. Last thing you need is an "adjustment" to your cervical spine.

It's happened to me before. I think its just my arm being bent so long that it cuts the circulation off in my brachial artery and my arm goes to sleep. I've noticed it at night since it wakes me up with my arm tingling. I stretch my arm out and move it around a little and the circulation kicks back in.

Good luck. I would definitely check with a PT, Airrosti, ortho, etc. Yours sounds pretty severe.

I deal with it from time to time, but have never been able to pinpoint it other than weight, anytime I begin to push back over 280 I start having numbness in my fingers and hands when I am walking around or standing/sitting still. Cut back down and poof, gone.

I generally stay lean between 250-265 now, and doesn't happen.

This is exactly what's going on. My wife has this issue really bad and she has spinal issues that cause it to happen all day everyday. Spinal Stenosis I believe is what it is.

I just assumed if it was a pinched nerve or something disc related I’d have some pain associated with it. As of right now i have none in my neck etc but I’ll def see a specialist in hopes to catch whatever it may be before it requires the S word!

I had the same issue and it’s a disc issue in your neck. The surgery sucks but if you put it off to long you will cause permanent damage

Sent ya a PM. I am/was on phentermine and topomirate to lose weight. Had exact same symptoms. Had me really worried and I’m 45. Luckily I talked to a friend who was a Doctor. She told me to get off the topomirate..... solved my problems...

I have seen them cause stroke and death. That trumps serious magic.

Stroke risk is much higher in women, but men can still have vertebral artery dissection.

I take it you missed the part that states don't get adjustments if you have numbness or tingling in your extremities--both of which Fred states he has. It also references the risk of vertebral artery dissection.
