I'm cheap and bought a BCA 18" straight fluted, nitrided 6.5G barrel for under $100 shipped. It shot 1.5"-3" groups until I had around 65 rounds through it. It now shoots Hornady Black sub-moa and stacks my reloads. When it starts shooting bad, I'll buy a new barrel. Good luck in your search.

I have a heavy 24" Krieger barrel for my 6.5. It HATES all factory ammo. It will hold just under 1 MOA with most factory ammo, but with what I paid for it I really expected better. After about a year of cursing and experimenting with it I finally found a reload that will hold 5 shots under 0.5 MOA. Expensive doesn't always mean better.
