They make a top for it. Have it and the stand still in the box so can't comment on how well it works.

I'm thinking the same way as you, but haven't quite figured out how I'll get in.....my old pop up has a corner entry and the ladder comes straight up the back.....are you gonna cut an entry?

Seat wasn't bad. Sat the opening sit solo so still not sure how it is with 2.

There is enough room on that platform to leave their seats off and put a few chairs up there.
