Valentines Menu?

since we have had kids we use the opportunity to have a nice dinner at home with the kids. They love it and the wife and i enjoy sitting down for a meal with them. These days we are spending 4-5 nights a week at baseball and softball and we are usually eating on the go or at different times. Tomorrows menu is as follows:

Grilled caesar salad
boiled shrimp
2 monster bone in ribeye
cheesy potatoes
green beans

probably a bottle or so of silver oak.

Scallops cooked in bacon fat and garlic butter, whipped cauliflower, grilled asparagus and bacon wrapped back strap

Wife and I are headed to Lubbock on Friday to see Blake Shelton. It’s her pick, but I’m hoping Double Nickel is on the menu.

We did ours over the weekend. I made lobster rolls one night and filet for her and NY strip for me the other night along with farmers market brussel sprouts. It was tasty.

It's also Ash Wednesday which in the Catholic church is a holy day of observance. Fasting and abstinence is the observance for today. We will enjoy a nice meal together another day.

Ribeyes,sautéed mushrooms,sweet potato casserole,asparagus or broccoli ( her choice),rolls
chocolate cheesecake. It'll be our cheat meal for the week. Great! now more fish and chicken this weekend.
