Missing a good fawn crop in the mature age classes. Rain hasn't been timely, even though it's been abundant. Our antlers are down overall this year, as is our fawn crop.

I take it ur referring to 2016. Do u have a month to month? Our May to August was very dry.

2011 was mainly fall rain if I remember correctly vuz we didn't have a good fawn crop that year.

Fawns, twins and a few triplets are everywhere this year. Healthy animals just slow on the mature bucks.

Same at our place in Catarina. Let several 160-170 deer go that went downhill. Our fawn crop is down this year also.

Overall I think it was a down year for us. Not sure where some of the deer went. Must have had a die off. Others went down. Lots of babies though and younger deer. Been a strange year. Never really felt like deer season.

Yes sir a down year here antler wise . Not seeing as many fawns as previous years but still a fair amount. Will know more next week on fawn survival after I do Helo survey. One thing I have noticed is there is a lot more doe fawns than buck fawns ?
