I laughed out loud when I saw that picture of Bisch holding the rooster with three arrows in it. The picture reminded me of a javelina hunt in Freer about 30 years ago. A buddy of mine emptied his quiver into a javelina and never did make a real good hit. However, the little critter had six arrows sticking out of him from every which a way and he could not fall down as the arrows all propped him up. I laughed till I cried.

You guys who can hit flying pheasants are fantastic!

Some old pictures

Looks like fun to me, but I would probably never fire an arrow as I would hate to loose them all. I feel like I would more or less be hunting dirt.

It is a total blast! I have done it 3 times, probably taken 100 shots, and gotten 2 birds. And while I could care less about shooting them with shotguns, I would pack my stuff and go tomorrow to do it again with my bow!!!!!

And for what it's worth, I have only lost one arrow on those 3 hunts!
