                        In those pictures it seems like you don't have much foliage around on the ground level, is it because all those exotics eat like cows?

                          Thats the one. Not the picture he quoted, but the same stand. The picture he quoted was of the first pic you posted from that stand. Looks like a young fallow facing the camera.

                            The dat gum sheep and Ibex eat 24 hours a day they pretty much eat every thing they can reach.

                                That makes a ton of sense. When I was up there, it was February and I wondered why it was I could see so far through the trees. I was thinking maybe because it wasn't green, but now that you say it, it makes so much more sense now.
