I hear ya, but a 2 liter bottle cap works for a drain cap.

Igloos IMO. All mine are great. But then I discovered yeti!

I own all three. Yeti, igloo and Coleman. Work pays for most of them but the Yeti was a gift. It is definitely the most durable and holds ice just about a day or two longer than the others. Igloo is the way I would go if it was my budget and if packed with ice properly it will hold ice pretty well.

I'm leaning toward the 150qt. Coleman Marine. It's on sale at Cabelas for 135.99.

I just went through this a couple weeks back.

I wound up with a Rubbermaid cooler. So far, I am very impressed with it. It is very rigid, and the stainless hardware sure is nice.

This is the one I bought:

For me, one is no better than the other.

I just went through this a few weeks back before an elk hunt. Ended up with the Coleman extreme based on several cooler-tests on youtube and some references from friends. Wal-Mart has the 120 qt version for $50!!

It worked well for me and kept ice for a week.

This ^ The Igloos that I have are always needing to have these items replaced and they are expensive for what they are. A lid latch, $9.00 to $12.00, depending on where you buy them. Actually the Rubbermaid cooler is the best. Molded handles, stainless steel hinges and latch. They keep ice really good. I have 120 quart Igloo Max Cold that I would let go cheap.
