It's been a long time since I've picked up a camera. I was never really any good to begin with but I've always enjoyed it.
I've got a Fuji Pro X1 that rarely gets any use but decided to throw it in the truck last thursday as I made a trip to Clovis, Muleshoe, Dimmit and Olton and back on Friday.
On my way home about 12 miles outside of Benjamin I saw a lightening strike to the south which caught fire. I called it in and remembered I'd grabbed my camera so I grabbed it and did the best I could with a camera I've not held in about 2 years. If anyone passed by at that time I was the fool with a camera standing on the aluminum tool box on the side of the road.
Anyway, I'm slowly working on some images/relearning Lightroom and this is the first I've finished worth sharing. Many of the photos are under or overexposed (the functions on the Fuji are a bit different than a Nikon or Canon SLR and I struggled remembering everything).
I feel like I'm starting all over so any critiques are appreciated.
