Finally found the money and time to replace the kids swing set. Got the posts set yesterday. Today's plan is to get the stringers/headers and platform built. I'm over building this thing with the expectation of turning it into a storage shed when they out grow the swing set.

Ordered a piece of metal today that will join the two outside edges together (6x3x3/16). It will span just under 17'. I will bolt it to the inside tops of the stringer/header on both ends. That should make it nice and solid!!! I added some items to the metal list while I was there. Might as well put up a new flagpole while i'm digging holes!!
Total cost thus far.
$450 Lumber/Screws/Bolts/Sak-Crete
$135 Steel
