Squirrel hunting as a kid and teenager with an open sight 22 sure made me a better shot. Always tried to shoot them in the head so I wouldn't mess them up too bad.
And the kicker is that I don't really like the taste of squirrels. I always found someone who wanted them before I went hunting.
