Most places won't make them overly hot. Mild to medium at best.

Man I hear ya! I like to sweat when I''m eating mud bugs, makes the cold beer go down better. We can't find any place near us here in San Marcos that does them hot other than dusting them with spices when they serve them. We usually just make our own.

If your not going to a place that offers regular and spicy. Find another spot. Most places around here offer two level and some even 3 levels of spice. Also find another spot if there is seasoning on the outside.

Try Tad's in Tomball. I have not been to that location but have gone to their Katy location several times. Those boys are from the Eunice area and DO IT RIGHT.

Have you tried Leblanc’s on 2920 going west out of Tomball? His are pretty good. Not overly hot and not under-seasoned.

Heard really good things about LeBlancs. Probably going to try this weekend. It’s BYOB too.

Get there or order early!! Course the rain may hamper sales. When it's nice they sell out

If you’re ever in Dallas try Nate’s and order the nitro!

There’s got to be an Asian crawfish place there somewhere. Every one I’ve ever went to would make them as hot as you want them.
