They are cool critters! We got a bunch up here in Karnes and live oak. Snare 6 or 8 a year and see plenty more sign. One is a camera hog, rolls In the dirt and plays at the feeder regularly. Craziest thing.

Here is the bobcat I shot this afternoon. I nailed the skin on a piece of backboard and covered on salt. I am watching some YouTube videos on how to tan the hide to make a rug with it.

Just had a wierd unexplainable experience with lights on lease property at about 1 am. Sheriff's Deputy witnessed them, as well. Border patrol found nothing. Freer area. Lights seemed to taunt sheriff deputy. They covered ground way too fast.

My girlfriends dad shot another bobcat this evening. That makes 12 total on this place since last season.

There is nothing about that deer that's not cull.

5.5 mainframed 8's get culled without hesitation.. weak brow and missing brow (not broke), and the crab claw gets him smoked even faster.
Cool deer none the less... the hollow spot in his mainbeam and his width gives him character that she wants him mounted...so hes getting a shoulder mount.
