    Food Plot Fence

I planted a 7 acre plot with cow peas, millet, milo, and sunflowers. My question is do I need to fence it off to keep my cows out. I have 15 head of cows on the place. It is fenced currently on 3 sides and I thought I could run a hotwire on the fourth side if needed. I wasn't sure is the cows would eat down that big of a plot. Thanks for the help.

I would, at least let it get established.

Cows would be in there eating nonstop. I would fence it for sure.

Good deal. I'll be putting a fence up this weekend.

We put a single stand of hot wire around 25ac or so. Cows never touched it.

That's a no brainer, a single run of hot wire and be done with it.

Or you could have little to no food plot.
