I lit fire in it yesterday at 5ish. It's held 220-230 till right now at 7:30 pm. Loaded down with wood at midnight last night and never really paid it no attention till lunch today. It had dropped down to about 180. I'm impressed with it, never would have thought a load of wood could last 12 hours.

If possible could you show a picture of your bottom plate / reverse flow channel? Did you perforate it or just flat plate with a hole at one end? Thanks.
