So we checked cameras and I did some scouting for antelope this weekend. Though I may have to turn my tag in due to a state of emergency being declared due to fires and my unit is up for being activated. Anyway here is a closer look at the big buck on trail camera. We also got a big 4 point as well.
Then while scouting I stumbled upon a bachelor group of bucks and they stood around long enough for me to snap some pictures.
Heading out today for my antelope hunt that starts Thursday. Hoping the stars align and I can make it happen. Wish me luck and I’ll post pictures when I can.
Not a lot of action. Someone decided they needed one of our best producing spots ground blind better than us so we lost that. Got into a spot that has a bunch of critters but just haven’t sealed the deal. Though tons of memories being made and the views are great.
I’ve really been slacking on the updates and photos. Though Saturday was the opening of late season archery Blacktail. Once again the wife tags out in under 3 hours in the blind.
Hit the turkey woods last night but got schooled. They didn’t care for the decoys and it sent them the other way. We will have a few days off then back at it this weekend.

My folks and two sisters are in Eugene. Another sister out at Walton and the fourth is up at Chehalis, Wa. I was raised in Veneta, before I got tired of Oregon and branched out to other places.
