Wife and I loaded up and headed to the family land just north of Leakey for the week.
Sunday I saw a several ewes in a bowl on the back of the property. Monday morning her brother and I saw several more with a few small rams.
That afternoon her and I eased in there and set up. I was looking high on the rim rock glassing and when I came off the glass I saw him standing across the bowl from us under some oaks at 87.5 yards.
Got her on the gun and she smoked him with the creedmoor it was a perfect heart shot! He ran about 10 yards and dove down into a old creek bed/crevice where we found him piled up.
