I'm waiting for the 1/8"x2" copper flat bat to come in so I can wrap it around the block and nail it in. For decoration and to add some compression to hopefully limit the splitting over time.....I'll post pics when it's finished

Thanks! My meter said 16% when I first cut it and 10% when I started working on it. I was more concerned with the end grain butcher block top, but its doing well so far.

Lol. I had a gigantic tree fall a few years ago, I had a trunk about the size of that one there on your trailer. A guy stopped by and said ' what you gonna do with all that wood' I said, you can have it if you want it, What you gonna do with it? he said he was going to make toothpicks hahaha - some weird folks out there
