IF you can swing the money, go Carli Suspension or Icon. Big 2.5" shocks with street-tuned valving will be totally worth that price tag. I run a full 6" Carli system on my '09 Megacab and it rides like a plush Cadillac.

Sorry just seeing this. It's a well known issue if you search any of the 17 forums. I just had a buddy get his replaced on his 17 250 Crew Short bed. Luckily I have the crew long bed, so I have the 48 gal tank that didn't have these issues.

Just stopped by my dealer and they said they haven't heard anything.

If you're getting a Crew Cab short bed then be sure it has the 34 gal tank. A lot of them came with only a 26 gal fuel tank even though they should have had a 34. The dealer will replace it for you under recall, but not without you bringing it to their attention.

Have any more info on that?

level kit

Need some advice, wanting to level or up to 4" lift. Prices are all over the place!

My demands are ride quality is a must.

I am running 33s now and might go 35s later on.

Looking hard at ICON, but dang $$$$. Is it worth it? Im leery of cheap 400.00 level as well.

What have you done and whats the ride like guys?

There is nothing wrong with the 2.5" ready lift but make sure you get the complete kit or things will be off.... I did mine, cant tell any difference in ride or handling. Is there better kits? Maybe but it rides and drives like factory and isn't junk like a lot of other stuff. It has my vote for a good kit at a fair price.

They're either FOS or clueless. It's a well known problem. A clue would be seeing how many gallons your tank holds from empty. It's supposed to be a 34 gal tank, but many have a 26 gal tank instead.

It's a 29 gallon tank. Still can't find a single thing on the internet about it.

The tanks are on backorder. It'll mostly likely be a month or two before you get it replaced.
